The Children's Play Area is located in a quiet corner of  reception.  We hope to make it easier for you to entertain your children so every visit to Northeast Veterinary Hospital will be enjoyable.  NEVH is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).  This assures you that  an independant veterinary organization periodically inspects and evaluates NEVH in 18 different areas.  All AAHA accredited hospitals voluntarily meet or exceed the association's standards for facilities, equipment and quality procedures.  We are very proud to be able to offer you and your pet this level of quality.                                                               Valuable Puppy Packs and Kitten Packs are complimentary with your new puppy or kitten's first Well Pet Examination.  These packs are an inexpensive way to begin heartworm prevention. Free Wireless Internet Access  is available so bring your laptop or PDA and stay connected while visiting us.  Just ask for the password. Hospital Tours are available upon request.  We are very proud of Northeast Veterinary Hospital and enjoy every opportunity to show it off to you and your friends.                                                                                                                                                                                 Refreshments are available appropriate to the season. It is almost coffee season.  We are working on getting the coffeepot going so if you do not see the coffee tray.  Ask for a cuppa, and we will gladly brew a fresh pot. Our Pet Boutique has a wide selection of toys, clothes, treats, and fun things for your special pet. The newest product is the selection of bling (charms) for the collar.  With cooler weather, you will want to check out the new t-shirts and the caps (camo caps, no less).  We have a wide assortment of pet dental products.  There is a great new product for pet halitosis.  The blue Kongs have arrived.  Ask us why they are special.  The Pet Boutique in our lobby is a great place to shop for that special pet in your life. Pet Care Television plays continuously in another area of reception.  The informative pet care tips are geared to the season of the year.  Also, if you are interested in  Basic Obediance Training  for your puppy or dog, ask to view the  Gentle Leader training system DVD.  It only takes a few minutes.                                                                                             Housecalls are available and may be arranged in advance with the receptionist. Need a neat last minute gift?  How about one of Philip John Brooks' CDs?  He is a very accomplished singer/guitarist/songwriter and the husband of Dr. Linda Brooks.  All his CDs may be purchased at the front desk.
