Linda L. Brooks, D.V.M.

Dr. Brooks  received the Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia and founded Northeast Veterinary Hospital in 1980.  She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and has lectured throughout the United States, England, and Canada on various aspects of dentistry.  She is a former president of the American Veterinary Dental Society, and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Brooks has authored numerous academic papers on veterinary dentistry and co-authored a chapter in the dental textbook, Atlas of Veterinary Dental Radiology.  For many years, she served as veterinary dental consultant for Zoo Atlanta and presently consults with zoological parks throughout the United States, England, and the Far East.


For the past 30 years, Dr. Brooks has served as the Medical Director of NEVH and has created a veterinary hospital which is recognized nationally as a state of the art hospital with a personal touch.

Carrie Cummings, D.V.M.

Dr. Cummings received the Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where she was a recipient of the American Association of Feline Practitioners Award. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology  at Piedmont College and first began working at Northeast Veterinary Hospital in 1999.   She has a special interest in Neurology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Cummings is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Jennifer Nelms, D.V.M.

Dr. Jennifer Nelms received the Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. Matthews University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She began working at Northeast Veterinary Hospital in the late 1990's as a pre-veterinary college student. After completing her clinical rotations at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, she is fulfilling her lifelong dream of practicing veterinary medicine.

Dr. Nelms is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.


Pamela Stone, D.V.M.
Dr. Stone received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the
University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. 
She has provided Relief Veterinary Services to Northeast Veterinary
Hospital since 1982.  Currently, she is a veterinary consultant for the
Franklin County Humane Society in Lavonia.  Dr. Stone has a
special interest in endocrinology especially the management of canine
and feline diabetes.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical
Association.
